Isn't it normal regression coupled with the Larkin injury? Playoffs were never a sure thing for this group. Still a chance they'll take 8th spot ahead of Philly.

Of that stretch, I only watched the Buffalo game yesterday. Very strange game by the Wings. Buffalo played well, don't get me wrong. But the number of very bad, completely avoidable turnovers by Detroit was odd to see. I mean, turnovers of the type and in situations that you just don't see professional players make very often. Not all of them ended in the back of the net. But notable to me nonetheless. Just looked as if the team generally was gripping the stick too tight and lacking a little confidence.

A lot of people think Yzerman is the GM god or something but he's just as prone to making bad decisions as any other GM out there, be it FA signings or even drafting.
