So a little bit more improved since he left San Jose. Sounds good. Would be a good addition to the team then. Thanks for the info.
He's pretty much the perfect second pairing defensive anchor with decent puck moving skills. Won't blow you away but he's damn steady and not very prone to errors.

Well this is a bit of good news.
Rads is very talented, but I do not think his game fits in Detroit. I admit I have not seen alot of Rads play though, so im basing this off " other" info. But if your a lazy player, Detroit is not the place to play.

Whats the take on Jan Mursak for next season?
He has battled injurys the last while and has never really had a good shot at sticking with the team, i can still see him as a 3rd line player for Det. My question is, will he be that 3rd line player or forever be playing at a lower level?
Well, he only had one injury, a broken ankle, but he wasn't good enough to get a solid spot on the team the rest of the way. He'll get a new shot next year and he could stick depending on what people Detroit keeps around or signs. I'd guess he'll be a 6-7 minute sparkplug for most of the year, maybe a few healthy scratches and then in 13/14 he could go forward to the third line. He has crazy speed, so a line with him and Helm would be insane to watch.
I can't see him as a top six option for Detroit in the future.
GO WINGS!

What a guy. This quote kills me because that was the series I fell in love with the Wings....and because the mistake he remembers was 20 years ago.
Q: I think people would be surprised to hear you remember your mistakes. Was there a significant one -- like in playoff game?
A: There was one back in '93 -- against Toronto in the playoffs -- we lost Game 7 in overtime, and the guy that scored the goal was my guy that I was supposed to cover. I was with him, but I didn't have his stick. And he scored, and we lost the series. That ate at me for a while.
I'm taking over the Red Wings coverage, folks!
I'm really excited to see what Ken Holland will do during the off-season, with so much cap room.
