As long as we get a good return I don't care where he goes.

NSH and CAR are two of the more likely destinations though IMO.

I doubt he goes anywhere. He's already starting to get back to game speed and once he does and the Swede breaks out of his point drought they will provide some excellent depth scoring for the Oilers and he'll be with the team for quite some time.

    Or at least I hope

Thats what im thinking and hoping. Horcoff and Smyth arent the answer on the 2nd line long term either.
    And besides, a top 9 of;
    Hall RNH Eberle
    Smyth Horcoff Hemsky
    MPS Gagner Jones
    ....is pretty damn good.
I wanna see it when they're healthy.(knock on wood, throw salt, sacrifice babies, etc...)

Unless it's a blockbuster Shea Weber/Keith Yandle type deal(we can dream), I hope we hold onto Gagner.

Another big win for the Oil tonight.

Don't remember the last time I've been so excited about this team.

I have been reading these Weber and Yandle rumors all day. I'm sorry to tell you Edm fans I don't see you getting either of them unless Eberle is in the deal and I don't think they would be that silly.... I think if it is Nashville they trade with Ellis or Josi are more likely...

LOL thats exactly what i was thinking. Another great performance by the whole team. Khabby looked a little shaky at times IMO, but maintained a shutout. I told my buddy earlier that if the Oilers were gonna win they needed help from their other lines. It was great to see the Oilers go toe to toe with one of the better teams in the west IMO. The Kings played a decent game but the Oilers got the breaks. Originally I would of been happy with a record of 500 on this road trip but maybe we can get more.

All i know is damn it feels good to be an Oilers fan.

ya i remember the last time they went on that streak. i was still in high school and loving every second of it. Saturday should be another excellent test for the Oilers because PHX is always a hard team to play against

The last time the Oilers had more than 41 wins in a season (so more wins that losses/ties)

    1987-1988

The team is long overdue for a better than average team.

Next year could finally be that year.

    That's a longggg time.

On a side note, I'm thinking more and more that Gagner won't be traded. However, something's gotta give... (well maybe not since we're constantly injured).

Just saw this tweet from DownGoesBrown:

I don't really care what team you cheer for, if you're not happy for Edmonton Oiler fans these days I don't think I want to know you.
