Pretty crazy how things play out after all the fanfare when the Habs were in danger of losing the division lead. Now they're heating up at the right time and Price is unreal.

Yup. They just need one more win or both Ottawa and Toronto to lose a game to clinch the division.

what are the chances Byron repeats what he did this year scoring 22 goals and 40 points I always knew he had offensive potential but I haven't watched many games, is he involved in offense enough for this breakout to be real and him considered a 40-50 point player?

The issue with Byron long-term is it's always going to be easy/convenient to push him down the lineup if someone else heats up because of his size and the fact he's already proven to be good in a bottom-six role. For that reason I can't really call him a true top-six winger. More of a tweener. I like him a lot though and there's still a chance he could prove to be one of the rare guys that never stops overcoming the obstacles.

Charlie frickin' Lindgren! I hate (ok, I love) how the Habs ALWAYS have good goalies. He was pretty solid yesterday; especially with a depleted defensive core!

Lindgren was very good. Keep him around as Montoya's successor.

It's even more impressive when you remember that they started off slow under Claude Julien. They lost two of their first three, and then their next three went into overtime.

Since Julien got behind the bench, the only elite team the Habs beat is Columbus imo.
They were also very good against solid clubs like NYR, Ottawa, Edmonton and TB.
Anyways, it's encouraging that the Habs are peaking at the right moment... going from mediocre to excellent coaching!
    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

Anyone wonder why Davidson wearing 88 hasn't caused more of a stir? I mean, isn't that disrespectful to Lindros, a hall of famer? Or does the ridiculous scrutiny only apply to Ho-Sang?
