I can't see this team being bad enough to have a chance at NP19!! Not if Price and Pacioretty have anything to say about it!!

agree with Bitzilla - Montreal will be nowhere near the bottom (and that's even if Price is injured again)

I'd love to hear from some Montreal fans on how long you think it takes before Roy takes over as head coach in Montreal? I mean it has to be inevitable right? As a Bruins fan, I can't help but hope that's the case!

But in all seriousness, do those who follow the Canadiens closer than I do think this may actually happen? If so, do you think it's a good idea?
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

My guess is no, they won't. Not this year. 5 teams from the metro.

The Lebrun tweets... posted by Axeman in another thread, suggest me to think this. Roy with one year on his contract just wants to enjoy life for the year. Thus giving Montreal 1 year to figure out how to get rid of Therrien and then hire him without burning too many bridges.

I think Muller is the next guy. They are grooming the "associate" coach...

I love Roy but I'm not sure his ego would allow him to go back to Montreal. That and the fact that he craves 100% total control over everything which I can't see happening anywhere. The one man Coach/GM concept has gone the way of the dodo.

That being said, if Montreal struggles out of the gate maybe we see Roy in Montreal by Christmas.

"figure out how to get rid of Therrien" ?! Pretty sure that was the 2015-16 season, yet Therrien is still a foxhole guy for Bergevin. Not gonna happen. This organization is doomed by it's mediocre management.

Expect Therrien to be out if Habs don't do well in the 1st half.. Roy will not coach in MTL ever.. Expect Muller to take over for a few years

No, I don't think there is a chance: Roy wants power over decisions, something that Montreal management will NEVER do

    Top lines in Montreal:

    Pac - Galchenyuk - Ghallagher

    Lekhonen/Carr - Plekanec - Radulov

Expect Rad to swtich between 1st and 2nd line

I agree with this one too.
I would add that the 2nd LW spot is up for grab. Any of Carr, Andrighetto, Shaw, Lehkonen could earn it.
I think Shaw fits more on the 3rd line. Carr and Andrighetto are on 1-way deals, so I would bet they have more of a chance over Lehkonen or another 2-way deal player.
Keeper league (12 teams) - keep 6 (+ NHL team is auto keep)

    Forwards & Dmen: goal (1), assist (1)
    Goalies: win (2), otl/sol (1), shutout (2)
    Team: win (2), otl/sol (1)
Only 2 FA pickups for the season (remaining: 0)
