Not that he's worth keeping, but we traded Kassian for him.
Kassian hasn't done much either. He had one nice stretch of games.

True but he's still a body...

I guess I have less of issue on the assets that were moved / acquired and more so on the knee jerk reactions we've made this year.

Meanwhile on the team itself everyone didn't react to anything and the team slipped right out of playoff contention.

Scrivens was a plug to tide us over until Price could come back. It was a gamble that didn't work, but we had to ditch Kassian and as eric said, he hasn't done much since his decent stretch of games. He won't be in the NHL all that long...

I don't agree with the we had to ditch Kassian theory though.
    Same goes for DSP.

There's no patience with certain parts of this team and then extremely too much patience with other parts.

Anyways, at the end of the day it probably wont make any difference because we are talking about bottom tier guys.

Both are useless...less than a year from now, people won't even be talking about them...they weren't part of the bigger picture and the Habs have guys in their system that can replace these guy anyways. With Kassian, he's more of a head case than anything.

no way Bub, kassian looks good for Edmonton bottom 6

the Habs should have held on and taken a chance on him

Just what the Habs needed, a total headcase in their lineup...Kassian's problems extend far beyond the rink...even on the ice why does he look good? Because he gets a few hits and racks up a ton of penalty minutes? Just what a team wants, to spend half of their game short-handed because of stupid penalties. There are a lot more effective checkers out there that don't cause their teams a 1/10 of the headaches.

I keep hearing rumours of Price playing bc he's traveling with the team. They can't be seriously thinking about playing him...? What would be the point, with 6 games to go, risk an injury again?..

If he's healthy and cleared....why not?

Weather it's now, or the world championships, or the start of next season his going to have to play eventually.

Rather it be now for a short stretch to get a better evaluation of his recovery. They could then decide if anything else needs to be done in the offseason.

So let him play for the world championships...Habs don't need to be getting any more points this season

So you'd rather wait 6 months for him to test out his injury in game action and see if it's ready to go rather than try it out now and re-asses?

Funny, I remember the World Championships being in May not Sept/Oct
