So how long before a forward gets called up from the AHL to try to fill the spot on Galchenyuk's wing? Not sure anyone is ready to just plug in and go but there's several guys producing in St. John's.

I really think we saw Semin in the NHL for the last time yesterday...
    At least I hope so...

I'd like to see McCarron for a few games, even if he's being groomed as a centre right now.
His physicality would be welcome. Semin is such a floater and that second line plays on the perimeter.
McCarron would instantly change that complexion.

On a side note, just acquired Pacioretty in a trade and I'm about to move Gallagher up to my main roster.
Anybody has some predictions for these two for the rest of the season?
    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

    Bud Holloway!

Try him on the Chucky / Eller line, if that doesn't work throw him on the DD / Weise line and let Flash roll with Chucky / Eller.

Guys like McCarron, Holloway, Andrighetto and Hudon could potentially do the trick. Each of them are long shots though. McCarron would have the biggest impact but at the same time do they want to move him back to the wing after he has made so much progress as a center?

Was thinking to myself earlier, how far has Dustin Tokarski fallen in such a short time? He went from being a favourite of many after his performance against the Rangers, to not even being able to get a game in when Price goes down.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

His issues started last year and it was minimized by Price being so damn good. You would think Tokarski could get that sorted out over the summer...

The fact that Pateryn (RHD) entered the lineup to replace Emelin (LHD) while Tinordi (LHD) stayed in the press box is very telling.

Galchenyuk is centering Eller and Mitchell, according to La Presse, which means a promotion for Torrey.
DSP - Flynn - Byron are together, Semin is out.

Looks like Price is getting close to a return. I'm guessing one games vs the Islanders (Friday or Sunday).
