I missed most of the game, but I saw some highlights. I was really impressed by Desharnais' back check to prevent a goal. He sped through the neutral zone and seemed to come out of nowhere to stop the scoring chance.

Great game, 1-0 late in the 3rd.

It's games like these that make me laugh at the folks that are adamant that more goals are needed for an exciting game and don't realize that it is in fact scoring chances that are far more integral to to games excitement level than actual goals.

In reality, the end to end action stops with a goal while it continues on with a great save.

First time ever the Habs win their first five games of the season. Quite surprising when you think about all that history.

First time in the team's history that they win their 1st 5 games. That's hard to believe!

Great win. My favourite part was that the Habs didn't sit back in the third and let the Rangers take it to them. It almost felt like they were behind at time.

Also a bonus, I own Price and Fleury in my main keeper pool. Two shutouts equals 10 points and a big boost up the standings.

Makes sense though when you think for the first 90-someodd years, teams could tie. So I'm guessing there's been a lot of 4-0-1 or 3-0-2.
