The Sens are using their backup as well. Should be fun!

So much louder for player intros than in Toronto on Wednesday night...

First time since the 70's that two rookie goalie faced each other for their first game I heard the announcers say.

I like it when teams go back-up versus back-up. I know nothing of Condon, so it should be interesting. I saw O'Connor a little during the pre-season and he was pretty good. Agreed that it should be fun!

Weak first goal allowed by O'Connor. He seemed nervous in the first.

Plekanec's second goal of the game was a good shot. Habs played a really good first overall.

Shots (15-6) told the story. Condon did well not getting complacent with so little action.

I was afraid they would come out flat in the first having played last night, but that was not the case.

That 5 on 3 was maddening. Sure let's pass it around at the blueline and not get any good shots on net...

GOAL! O'Connor never saw the puck on that one.

That Habs PP still needs a lot of work. Everyone knows it's going to go to Subban for a shot, so the defence knows how to play. They should do a PP where they say Subban is not allowed to shoot the puck at all just to see what all his teammates do.

Worth noting: in the two back-to-back games the Habs allowed a combined 42 shots. Safe to say they fixed a few things after the Toronto game. They are not getting pinned in their own end often.

With the Pens being so cold out of the gate I expect tonight's game to be a tough one. Lots of pressure on them to show some life ASAP.

Habs showed them who was boss! I love how the team flowed as a unit; offense, defense and PRICE! They did sometimes seem out-of-sync, but when it clicked: It Clicked!

However, I think the Pens will eventually find their groove and be a much tougher adversary next time around!

The Pens were able to get a lot of shots. They made a push but Price was the difference.
