It may have woken up the crowd a bit though.

It's nice to have the lead but overall not a great period for the Habs. Too much D-zone time.

I loved it personally. I've been saying for years that it would be great if a team did this. It was the first night. Imagine what it would be like the next time Montreal comes to town and they are used to it. Or how great it would be in the playoffs. You'll see the decibels go louder as the season goes on.

I was just about to post about Petry struggling out there tonight. Then he scores.

Habs look off tonight. No zip, no speed.

The D is especially off. Lots of turnovers.

Price, Subban and Pacioretty were outstanding. The rest was lacking. Gotta play better to beat the real teams.

It looked like a first game. They were lucky they faced the Leafs and got away with the win.

Habs win! Price was great, unlucky goal.

Ya, unfortunately the Habs were under the impression that yesterday's contest was a to be played à-la NHL Open Ice; 2on2 hockey style!

That would be a sick trio in the game though; speed, toughness, scoring and elite goaltending!

The lob pass actually reminded me of NBA Jam.

You mean during the real game on Wednesday or in the video game? If it's in the video game, Midway made both NBA Jam and NHL Open Ice so that's why both games look alot alike.

I didn't notice any huge saucer passes during Wednesday so that's why I ask. If there was one though, it has to have been made by Price or PK
