Is that the counter to the Leafs hiring Lemaire to basically do the same thing?

Well I don't mind adding a guy with his experience. He is, like Lou respected around the league.

As long as his brain hasn't shut off yet and he's not stuck in 2008 I'm OK with the hire!

Such a devastating illness for him and his family as it affects everyone involved. All those great memories will most likely be taken away from him, little by little with no remorse...

Hopefully for him, it does not keep degenerating as quickly.

I don't think his record will ever be beat: 11 cups as a player with the same team!!

The salary cap and 30+ team league virtually guarantees it will not be broken.

    Thanks for posting this.

I really want to see Scherbak in a preseason game or two.

I imagine the team's top prospects will get a lot of looks, especially up front. The team still wants to improve its scoring and they'll try to see if a guy can get hot internally.

Looks like Pacioretty's recovery is on schedule. Not sure what that means but no setbacks is good. Should be good to go close to the start of the season.

    Interesting news this morning...
Bergevin says there will be a captain before the end of training camp and states that Galchenyuk will play center.
