Some speculation on potential line changes for game 3. Not sure what to make of it. Parenteau wasn't very good in game 1 but de la Rose has not done much either.

Really didn't see this coming to start the series. This team keeps finding ways to win!

So depending on what's going on with Beaulieu, the Habs have options to replace him. This is when having all of that depth is so nice!

Beaulieu is officially listed as having a UBI but there was a shot of him at the end of the 2nd where it took him a while to get up and go to the dressing room. He was either pissed off or had the concussion look. He didn't return so...

Options for next game are Pateryn, Gonchar and Weaver.

Torrey Mitchell, Brian Flynn and DSP have already paid off their trades. Petry has been solid too. Hope they find a way to keep him around.

If there's a risk he has a concussion, it's unconscionable that they would leave him on the bench. I don't understand how teams keep doing stuff like that even now.

The league (or PA?) has to step up and play the role of the adults in this. Teams are all competing right now and should not be trusted to act in the individual's best interests.

I can see the logic in dressing Pateryn. He brings a physical presence the other two don't have I kinda wanted to see Gonchar, though. Both because of the poise only a veteran can offer and because it would be nice to give him some ice during the playoffs and this seems as good a time as any.

How quickly things change, though. This time last year Weaver was playing some of his best hockey.

Weaver and Gonchar have really disappeared off the face of the earth. Seems the coach wants to play anyone but them. Not saying he's wrong but I don't recall any of those two vets ever standing out as liabilities.

Pateryn looked good yesterday. Meanwhile I would not be surprised if de la Rose is taken out and Parenteau returns for next game. He is just not bringing it.

Yeah, I barely noticed DLR last night. I felt like Prust was always on the ice, but he only played 10 minutes, so he's always involved with the play.

That powerplay is awful though. The main problem is they can't get in the zone to set anything up.

That was mostly how the final five minutes played out too. They played well but there wasn't a sense of urgency.
