It's time for Buffalo to move to the Metropolitan division. My reasoning: they're obviously situated in the same state as the Islanders and Rangers. How stupid would it be to put the Penguins and Flyers in different divisions?

That is my ONLY reason.

Habs sign Mike Condon to a two-year extension. Without capgeek we'll probably never know if the second year is one-way but I do wonder if he'll be the next backup once Tokarski eventually moves on.

Just saw this on Rotoworld:

Montreal will play 23 games in 42 nights.

The Canadiens will play four sets of back-to-back games and there is only two two-day breaks between games. That's a very busy schedule so expect to see plenty of Dustin Tokarski to help ease the workload of Carey Price.

Busy stretch coming up after that crazy lull of emptiness in the schedule...

Desharnais was one of the NHL's three stars last week. Strangely enough, I don't remember seeing a lot out of him. Am I insane in this thinking? Was he having great games and I just wasn't noticing?

He's collecting points off of Pacioretty and Weise. They've been the noticeable ones.

I'm glad they pulled out the win because their timing was off for most of the night. Tons of good chances that turned into nothing. The key is they never gave up.
