Looks like Beaulieu and Gilbert will be out tonight. Nothing confirmed so there could be seven dmen dressed. In that case I would think Beaulieu goes in for Bowman. Puts Gilbert in a tough spot for now.

Aside from going into a shell in the last 10 minutes of the game the Habs played a nearly perfect road game. The only thing the crowd had to cheer for was a few hits.

The Bruins fan should know not to bet against the Habs when they face off against one another.

At work we have Bruins fans and Leafs fans. I've yet to pay for a coffee this year.

Same skater lineup tonight. No Beaulieu or Bowman.

Not sure what happened with Desharnais but he used to be a lot stronger on the puck and along the boards. Now he gets knocked off with ease.

So far lots of perimeter play tonight. Cycle the puck for 12 minutes and then lose it without a shot generated. Time to generate some plays!

They look flat. Fourth game is six nights. An overwhelming amount of puck battles/races lost all night this far.

2/4 wins in a tough week is a decent outcome. Still doesn't excuse the stinker in New York.

Yeah he doesn't generate anything and looks completely useless... He's often down after getting checked.
The PP not clicking really hurts his numbers too. I own him and I'm sick already. Really hurting my team right now and I'm contending...

That line needs a player to get the dirty work done and win foot races in the corners because DD isn't strong enough and Patches doesn't involve himself physically.
Cole and Gallagher worked well on that line because they were able to do just that, but Parenteau doesn't mesh well imo.
I'd like to see Sekac get an audition with them, he would be a good fit. His speed and his drive would allow DD to work the cycle more easily...
Sekac did get a shift on the PP with them tonight, if I'm not mistaken.

Last season, DD had 1 point in 19 games to start the year so I guess there's hope... Damn he's frustrating me lol
    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

Heard a quirky stat this morning. In their six regulation losses, the Habs have been outscored something like 30-3.

I think this was something like Montreal's fifth or sixth back-to-back game of the season, but it was only their first loss. And every one of those second games were on the road.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

So they have definitely shown an ability to pack it in on occasion, that's for sure.
