Tokarski is in tonight. Poor guy.
Just a heads up that due to the Bondon curse whichever goalie the Habs put in on the front side of the B2B in Edmonton is a bad option to start in your fantasy league.

How have the Oilers not taken care of the cameras being on the wrong side yet??? That alone makes me want them to lose.

The only thing worse than a late game is a late game where the Habs are sloppy.

This was one of the worst efforts I've seen from the Habs in ages. Sloppy is an understatement.

To add to what I wrote, the possession time was very good against the Oilers and there were certainly chances to score. I just can't remember seeing so many easy passes missed, good passes mishandled, guys out of place for outlet passes, blind passes, attempted passes through multiple defenders and predictable Subban slapshots. The Oilers did well paying the price to defend and took advantage of their chances. They deserved to win. Hopefully the lesson is learned quickly and the team can get back on track tonight.

The Habs could have had a few more powerplays as well. I don't think they played that badly to be honest. Sometimes you'll lose the odd game like that.
Yeah they played poorly on both sides of the puck. The Oilers played a good game but we didn't show up last night. The Habs last night looked like a team that was taking it's opposition for granted and already looking forward to the next game and the results were predictable.
I'm just not convinced more powerplays would have made much of a difference. Not the way they were moving the puck. Like I said their puck possession time was very good but they were not sharp mentally and several players basically took the night off. Oilers were very willing combatants and did well making their chances count.
Hopefully this ends up being a mulligan game and not the start of a trend.
