Markov is playing well this year. If they can give him a few extra days off here and there, I don't see why he could keep it up.

We go through this every year when Markov starts hot and then he goes through lulls in the second half.

Habs' lack of an effective PP is really costing them tonight. They had chances to get back in the game and failed each time. Still some time to go in this one but the PP is really sticking out like a sore thumb.

They had a great start to the season and 3/4 road wins is always solid. But slow starts to games and a dead PP really added up tonight before things fell off the rails.

They looked asleep for large portions of this game...way too much coasting
Very strange too because they played excellent in their first 3 games, very driven, very tenacious but that went out the window tonight.
They've got 2 days off until they play the Bruins, THAT's the team we need to beat, and badly too

They've been on the road since Tuesday and have played 4 games in 6 nights and you could tell.
