Price was sensational and the team was very disciplined. Great game and exactly what will be needed if they are to win this series

I'm shocked the Habs were credited with just 15 giveaways. They seemed to have that many every time they tried to leave the zone.

I agree that it isn't optimal to be on the back heel so much but I've ways felt that a big part of this series would be wether or not the Habs could absorb the pressure the Bruins are likely to bring. Some adjustments should be made but Boston will probably have the lions share of offensive zone possession throughout the series. They are a very good team.

Habs played poorly (except Price and the Eller line) but won...so that's good news, I guess.
The Bruins dominated like crazy but missed a zillion of golden opportunities...which won't happen again, so that's bad.
In the end, it's a W and it gives the Habs at least a split in Boston after two games which is always a good thing.
I totally agree that they spent way too much time in their zone and were absolutely terrible passing the puck. The Desharnais line was horrible and they need to find a way to bounce back, the Habs will need them eventually.
But as long as Price plays like that, the Habs are definitely capable of the upset.
Vanek and Pacioretty in particular have to stop playing like Rene Bourque. And Rene Bourque (or the imposter wearing his jersey) has to continue playing like a real power forward.
