great rants but can I ask one small question. why is Jim O'briens name being thrown around as the trade bait? whats up with him. i am in a very deep league that counts FW and i have him on my prospect roster called up here and there this past season and liked what he added. a few goals and a good amount of FW.

League has been running continuously since 1997-98
Bruce Garrioch: Senators GM Bryan Murray said that Daniel Alfredsson has started working out at the Scotiabank Place, which is a good sign for the team. Will hold talks when Alfredsson decides he wants to play. A one year deal is likely at $4.5 million. Murray told Alfredsson to take all the time he needs.
I'm hoping to get some production out of him for one more year. Hope this is a good sign!

Good info to pass along but just don't get too caught up in Alfredsson working out already. It's more a lifestyle for him and in no way is he working out for anything other than just because he feels better when he keeps moving.
I will still put my odds at 50/50 for if he plays another year. I have no clue, no one does, not even Alfie I would assume.
Can this draft happen already? I changed my avatar about 3 weeks ago with who I think the Sens are gonna go hard for and would love to change it to him in a Sens jersey.
More rumblings (though unsure how reliable) of Hemsky and Ottawa. Very interesting...
What do you guys think of Silfverberg?? Is he going to be a star for this team going forward?? He looks to have the tools and the drive, but I'd like to hear what you guys think of this kid??
