any word on who might get the start on staurday?
with the recent news of Spezza probably not returning this year, I would definitely go after Roy even though he is a douchebag.
I think they definitely add somebody now.

Noun
(slang, idiomatic) 1. A person who habitually corrects or criticizes the language usage of others, especially in situations where it is unnecessary, e.g. an informal conversation.
Notes: This behavior is almost always found in people with very low I.Q's, whom have a very low sense of self worth. Impotence is also commonly linked to Grammar Nazi's.

Fair enough. Leaves a sour taste in my mouth when I want my team to lose though. Especially to a rival.
What Ottawa has done without their top players is amazing. 6th would be a great season for sure, but I want my Leafs to continue winning for home ice advantage. If you guys were healthy, I'm sure you would think the same way.
If Ottawa was healthy they'd be in 1st in the NE, so I would think the same way. Leafs won't get home ice, don't think Ottawa will either at this point. I wouldn't mind playing Montreal though as I think they are definitely beatable.
Anyone is beatable including Boston and Pittsburgh.
Strive for home ice, and play whoever you line up with. None of this 'I hope they lose to get a more favourable playoff matchup in round 1 that is still 13 games away'. You shouldn't hope to lose to a rival, under any circumstance.
doesn't really matter IMO. Both Toronto and Ottawa have made the playoffs. I wouldn't purposefully lose, never, but I would not be mad if my team finished in a lower position that faced a much easier opponent. Let's face it, Winnipeg doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. Also the Leafs don't scare me whatsoever for the playoffs, especially with Reimer as their #1, so I don't care about losing to them right now.
I don't hope to lose to a rival, but I'm not upset about this loss at all. My 2 cents.
Neither Toronto nor Ottawa are beating a Boston or Pittsburgh. Unlike last year where the #1 was seed was weak and overrated as ****, the Pens are too much right now.
It will be tough for the Senators, as it would be for any team to go into a playoff series with so much youth and inexperience. What they have done is amazing this year, but they need Anderson and Michalek back badly, to have a hope.
If, if, if.... once you are in the playoffs, anything can happen, and the standings start to become less important.
I would much rather watch the Sens lose with Spezza and Karlsson anyway.
