    and...leading 3-1:

As speculated earlier Saturday on Rotoworld, Craig Anderson will return to the Ottawa Senators' net when they meet the Toronto Maple Leafs in an all-Canadian evening matchup.
Anderson, 33, has been out with a deep bone bruise on his right hand. Youngster Andrew Hammond took the hockey world by storm as he filled in for Anderson, going 14-0-1 in his first 15 starts. But Hammond is now out himself with a lower-body injury sustained in a collision with San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture on March 23. "The plan is for me to get in tonight and give it a whirl," Anderson confirmed. "I feel pretty good. I feel like it is where I need to be at this point of the weekend. We need to keep winning and playing well. For me, when you get out there and get in the moment you forget about everything else."

I had to work this weekend so I missed tonight's game. Anyone care to chime in on what happened? Obviously it would be crazy to expect the, to keep winning forever, but does anyone have any thoughts on whether the loss of Michalek, the addition of MacArthur, or anything else the last couple of games upset chemistry?

michalek and Puempel were big losses. Add that to Hoffman not playing well and being shuffled around, the LW on three lines are different. Just a bit of a lull after a huge month. Guys starting to tire. Hope to see Cowen in.

wow, heart still racing. Best game of the year. If Johnny Hockey wasn't lighting it up, and a media favourite, I'd say Stone would be the deserving rookie of the year. Announcer said the detroit scouts were chattering about how good he is. Absolute force out there. It's Hammond or bust as far as I'm concerned, don't sit him another game unless he gets blown out or hurt. Anderson has been solid during his time with Sens but i think players see him back there and perhaps just think about all the losing. They play like they are on a mission with Hammond in net. Sometimes you have to go with karma.

Detroit is going to be so bad when Datsyuk and sets are gone for sure. Bad d, small forwards, all the same type for the most part. Shaky goaltending.

Just such absolute BS, team only plays for Hammond.

Time is ticking fellas......can they still make it? Things are going to be fun to watch over the last 10 days of the season. I hate the Bruins, but I do believe they will sneak in and break the hearts of Sens fans.

The Hammond hyperbole is strong. As is the Anderson-hate and Lehner-love.

Give me Anderson every game that means something…and they all do right now.

I certainly don't think that Hammond has been the sole reason the team has been amazing the last few months, but I disagree with you here. Almost every game over the last 6 weeks has "meant something", and Hammond has delivered. Early on in the streak, it appeared to me like the team ramped it up to preserve the incredible run. Even if they don't make the playoffs, I would not be surprised to see Lehner traded in the off-season. If they do make a move like that, I sure hope Hammond isn't a flash in the pan.

Only games I'd give Anderson are back-to-backs. I shared your opinion but he (or the team) blew his chances when he was in net.

I am confident that this is Anderson's last stretch as a Senator
