I actually love my top line of Greening - Spezza - Ryan.
Greening is another big body on that line with a much different role than the other 2. He will take up space, has the skill level to hang, the speed to keep up and has already proven he can put up points with Spezza.

Conacher is still in the top 6 and that is where he needs to be to maximize his potential.

Zibanejad is a center, is a center, is a center.

    Maybe:

    Michalek-Spezza-Ryan
    Wiercioch-Karlsson

    Turris-Greening-Pageau/MacArthur
    Corvo-Karlsson

Alfredsson used to play some point on the PP too so maybe someone like Turris who is a pretty sound decision maker and 2 way player could sneak onto the 1st unit over Wiercoch/Corvo.

Not sure if he has much of a one-timer or not though.

Haven't seen Turris one-time it yet, as far as I can remember.

One player who has a great one-timer is Zibanejad and has played the point with the Swedish national team.

Cowen's is pretty good as well.

    PP1:
    Michalek - Spezza - Ryan
    Wiercioch - Karlsson

    Zibanejad - Turris - Greening
Corvo - Karlsson and Cowen for the final 20 seconds if that.

    From reporters:

MacLean confirms MacArthur will start on a line with Turris. Stone, Conacher and Hoffman also in the mix to play on the other wing.

MacLean also said that as it stands right now, Zibanejad & Z. Smith are going to start camp as centremen.

    Michalek - Spezza - Ryan
    MacArthur - Turris - Conacher/Stone
    Greeening - Zibanejad - Condra
    Conacher/Pageau - Smith - Neil
Kassian and O'Brien with Stone or Pageau down in the AHL.

    Methot - Karlsson
    Cowen - Wiercioch
Phillips - Corvo/Gryba (whoever isn't in, is a healthy scratch

    Anderson
    Lehner
So I pretty much nailed it for the last 2 months...up until I decided to change it two days ago just for shits and giggles.

Pretty obvious that would be the lineup. Only thing different may be Smith on the wing if Pageau falters on wing.

although I could see the Conacher idea on the top trio if it doesn't work out

Obvious? Except I guess for when you said this:

It seems as though the Sens and Cowen have agreed on a 4-year deal but are still far apart on the salary.

Sens had originally offered 2, 4, 6 and 8 year proposals with diminishing AAV as the term got longer.

It's baffling to me that they can't work this out and that Cowen is choosing to miss a couple skates with teammates. 90 games in 4 years Jared, that's all you've played son.

See you on the ice kid.

Agent picked the wrong client to try and build a reputation with. Might want to choose someone with more bargaining power other than Cowen. Haha.
