    Default Another start two of...

    Rinne vs. DET
    Boucher vs. NYI
    Niitty vs. ANA

    GAA, S, SV%, W, SO

Guaranteed at least one of these tenders are going to get shelled tonight. I'm thinking of starting Rinne and Boucher as I feel Anaheim will have a better game than their previous outing.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks!

I would definitely start Rinne, and then the decision becomes difficult. You want a win from Boucher, but the Flyers played last night so they could be in tough. You need a win from SJ, but their opponent played last night. I'd go with Niittymaki personally. Keep on eye out for the starters though, because there's a chance that Bobrovsky plays again tonight because he played well last night, and there's a chance that Niemi plays tonight too (although Boucher and Niitty are the probables for sure).

D: Carlson, Phaneuf, Yandle, , Vlasic
    G: Rinne, Gibson, Howard (IR)

Start Rinne, he's just too good not to, even if it's Detroit. I'll second the Niitymaki recommendation if he goes tonight, Anaheim just doesn't scare me.

Yeah, assume they all start, Rinne and Niitty for me too.

I agree with the majority here, you gotta go with Rinne for sure...I'd probably go with Nitty after that but Boucher is a good start too

Just for the record, I cast a dissenting vote - I would start Niitty and Boucher.

I agree with shoeless. Philly has been impressive, and Boucher should have a great deal of motivation this game.

San Jose will turns things around eventually. In fact, they exploded last game and I see that as a sign of better things to come.

Also, NJ's defense looked bad last night, and Anaheim still couldn't score. Perry and Ryan weren't skating at all. I'd have no trouble starting Nitty against that offense on the backside of a B2B.

    Cheers

2 votes for Niitty and Boucher eh... that's interesting.

I might actually do this as I'm pretty safe in the GAA and SV% department (Rinne's forte).

    Decisions decisions...

Also for the record - I have made more bad goalie calls in the last 10 days than I have in the last 5 years in total - seriously.

Well neither did Rinne - someone masquerading as him did though.

I knew a loss was a real possibility, but I never saw this coming. Halak on the ropes too.

would have been better than Rinne tonight, he's getting rocked by the Wings which sucks, but I also own Dats with 3 pts tonight so at least the damage is somewhat mitigated, sorry for the bad advice Gates
