I don't care that much for the ASG but it would be neat to have all the stars in town and it would be great to get some exposure in Ottawa. If this is true, it's about time we hosted this event! Seriously though, that would be great news.
The fact that they're building world-class convention facilities here in Ottawa is probably the reason this is finally happening. I'm not a senators fan by any means, but I'm glad to see a Canadian city host the game. It's a slap in the face of true hockey fans that the ASG always seems to go to markets where the team is in trouble to try and stir up interest. It should be a reward to fans who actually support their team.
Give them an opportunity to drop $200 on a 300-level ticket.
