Greeat article, even though I wouldn't have Kadri on my own list. Honourable mention goes to Louis Leblanc, I know Scribe is high on him .
In Angus's article he says MPS is a lock to make the Oilers this season and maybe even play on the top line. But up until now, everything I have read said that he would likely need another year before making the NHL. Which is it? What has changed?

lol it's not because he's a leaf I think Hodgson would have been on my list in his place, but again it's tough to rank after you take away the top guys. Good list and solid analysis for each player!
How the hell did Kadri's name not even occur to me??? Great article, Angus!
@SmittysRant
Great article!
However you missed the 25 GP restriction with Zach Boychuk. Good thing he didn't make it to the top-10
Angus, I just noticed that you mentioned in your article that Bruins lack any future all-stars on wing. No love for Horton?
I didn't read anything on this thread so I don't know if it's been mentioned, but how could you leave Nyquist off the honorable mentions? I think he is significantly better than a few guys in the top ten.
From the opening paragraph on Dobber's Top 215 Prospects list:
"Here is the list of Top 215 prospects to own in your deep fantasy pool. This is not a reflection of a player’s actual upside in the NHL, but more of an indicator of his value in pools. It takes into account how many years away from the NHL a player is, as well as his upside. A potential 70-point player who is two years away is more valuable than a potential 80-point player who is four years away".
I'm thinking this top 10 prospects list has a similiar criteria. It's not just about who has the most talent but also who is more ready to play in the NHL. With Nyqvist being a Wings prospect, it's generally believed they will bring him along slower as they do with most of their prospects (I'd be surprised to see him as a full time starter in the NHL this year). That's why he is not listed as high as you feel he should be.
Was searching through some things and came across this. You were right, it did take a LONG time for Nyquist to crack the lineup. Didn't make the roster last year, but because of injuries, he got in. Officially, this will be his first full year in the NHL. Four years later.

Although there are a few misses I think the people who posted all those years ago need some credit for mostly getting it right.
