Brown or Clowe

I have 3 rw’s (team in sig) and was thinking of balancing things out on the wings and trading Brown for Clowe. Seems RW is deeper than LW generally. Is this a reasonable swap? Pros/cons?

Wow great question EJ. I am sitting on an extra right winger in one league with Brown in the mix and needing to balance to LW as well. I have been digging and mulling values for weeks now. I am pretty sure I wouldn't settle for Clowe in return because I think he isn't as durable or steady as Brown and in a roto that is worth more. It certainly isn't a terrible deal but I think in the absence of a better player coming back that I might just carry Brown forward into the season and see what the market might bring then. That's pretty much what I have decided to do.

Agreed. Brown is way healthier and has a higher upside, IMO. I could see Clowe out-pointing him again next year, but I'd rather own the guy who should stay healthy all year, is younger and takes a TON of shots.

Thanks for your takes on this. I was leaning this way, but I am always concerned about liking my players too much. Brown it is.
