    Default Clemmensen value next year?

Assuming Florida moves Vokoun, what does that do to Clemmensen's value in a keeper? Would he get a shot at the starting job come fall, most likely as a one-year gig to keep the seat warm for Markstrom?

I picked him up at the end of the season for kicks basically (see team in siggy). I have Luongo, Bryz and Thomas. With Thomas' situation and assuming he stays in Boston, pairs with Rask and possibly/generously gets 20-30 starts, I will need another fringe starter to fill out my Games Played. I fell short this year due to that. Could Clem be that man?

    Any thoughts welcome, thanks.

Call me crazy but I feel if Vokoun gets traded Salak could be the sleeper goalie of the year. In my opinion he has a way better chance of running with the starting job next year then Markstrom and/or Clemmenson.

Yeah I don't see Clemm getting the gig - Salak isn't such a crazy idea in terms of a replacement for Vokoun.

I wouldn't be surprised Clemmensen splits duties with an incoming goalie that is involved in the Vokoun deal. I don't think Markstrom joins the team until 2011/12 and once he gets a year of North American hockey experience. He might get a 9 game trial similar to that of Bernier in LA. FLA might be a bad place to put in a fresh rookie having allowed the leagues leading shots against the last 3-4 years.

IF Vokoun gets dealt, and I'm not sure he will get dealt, then I still don't think that Clemmensen gets anything more then 30-35 starts, with another goalie taking the rest (either one who comes back in the trade, or Salak). Scottie just isn't a starter, and he knows that.
