The Predators, who had won three straight, lost defenseman Shea Weber after the first period. He was involved in a pile up behind his net. Weber is day-to-day after suffering an apparent hand injury in Friday's loss to Detroit, John Glennon of the Nashville Tennessean reports.
Recommendation:
He played just 7:37 on Friday night before departing. Weber will be evaluated again by the Predators' medical staff on Saturday, but head coach Barry Trotz said that he doesn't believe that the injury is serious.

Don't worry guys!!!! I prematurely dropped him so that I could get Booth and play him tonight. As a result Weber will miss no games and sorry to Booth owners, but he'll be a -1 and get no points tonight.

by all accounts it sounds like a minor injury, i wouldn't mind him skipping sunday's game just to be safe.

Preds coach Barry Trotz is still calling Weber day-to-day. He doesn’t think Weber – who appeared to hurt his left hand or arm – will be out too long. It’s been my experience that in general, the longer the Preds take to put a timetable on an injury, the longer the player is out. But we’ll see what transpires.
That last part has me worried... hopefully this john glennon character is wrong
