Datsyuk for Eberle + 1st

I would be the one giving up Eberle from my farm and the 1st Rd pick would be in the region of 16th-20th (unless I have an almighty collapse in the second half).

The rest of my team and stats are in my sig.

Is Dats going to pick it up in the 2nd half or are the Red wings on for a bad year all round??

I'm assuming the 1st round pick is a prospect pick?

If so, I'm making this trade in a heartbeat!

Eberle will be a solid player, but Dats is a top 10-15 player in his prime.

No the pick is the 1st Rd of our main draft but we keep 20 players next year.

Just as an extra thought who would you drop,as farm team players don't sit on our roster of 30, i'm thinking T Connolly??

I'm assuming you can't send Filatov down to your farm or you would've done it by now?

Connolly has been the coldest over the last bit, so ya I guess he'd go first.

I would definitely do this trade. Especially since you keep so many players. Even if Datsyuk doesn't pick it up this year, he will next year for sure.

As far as dropping someone goes, I would go with your instincts. I've never been a fan of Connoly
