Do you guys think Weiss will post a 70+ pt season? Now that I look at my team I think I need to try and get help at RW.

Which Backstrom? I'm assuming WSH? Either way you're right, you need to improve at RW more than anything.

I'm confused, if you need help at RW why are you trading for a center? or are you trading for backstrom with the wild? Please leave some additional details about the situation...

Sorry this is WASH Backstrom.

I had just been looking for a center for a while because my centers were

jumbo, staal, roy, spezza

Since then roy and staal have begun to play and i dropped spezz for weiss. With the changes I feel my centers are pretty solid now, I just finally had someone bite on a trade and now I don't think it is necessary.

I guess my real question now is who should I target with a Malone+Smyth package at RW?

You are all over the place with this thread so people do not really know what you are asking. I like the information you provided about your team in the initial post, you should put that in your signature. We also need to know if this is a keeper league or if it is a one year league.

So the question as I understand it, Malone/Smyth for which RW? Well since you are trading 2 for 1 and neither player is all that desirable (Smyth because he is just coming off an injury and Malone because...well...he's Malone), I would say that you might be able to get someone along the lines of a JP Dumont or Selanne. Nothing of any real value for you there. Wait a couple of weeks. If Smyth starts producing you can try to bump up to someone like Boyes or perhaps Kessel if you are lucky
