The dreaded lower body injury. I didn't see the incident in question, but that is what the announcers just said. Sucks, I have him in a couple pools.

Malone left Wednesday's game with a lower body injury and will not return, the team's official site reports.
Spin: He played just 4:21 prior to departing, but Malone tallied an assist and was plus-1 on Wednesday night.
Looks like it's day-to-day for him and Stamkos. Good news!
