Good news about Nicklas Backstrom
Alexander Semin (undisclosed injury/illness) will probably play in Washington's game against Philadelphia on Tuesday.
Semin has missed two straight games due to a combination of an injury and illness. He practiced on the top line with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom on Monday.
