My defensive core is dying with Gonchar and now Markov down. Can't even last 10 games without two major injuries.

No update on Gonchar until tomorrow? Sleep is going to be tough tonight, better make myself a strong night cap! Hopefully it's just a couple weeks with a sprained wrist or something. He's on contract year and needs to prove he can stay healthy after last year's shoulder injury.

At least one report that its a broken wrist. Ouch. Really sucks for the Pens, he is truly the biggest piece of their PP.
On top of that, can you imagine if he missed the Olympics (with Markov already out)!!!!!!
In all likelihood, he should be back before then, thankfully.
