Rinne

I am trying to get a feel for what kind of future people think Rinne will have. I see that Dobber has him slated for 34 wins and 6 SOs while THNs has him for quite a bit less with 29 wins and perhaps 5 SOs if memory serves.

I have a chance to acquire him in a trade although it will cost me dearly. The bones of it would be Rinne and DSedin for Kovalchuk. What worries me is that I am not convinced that Rinne is the undisputed starter in NAS. Dobber is 70% sure that Rinne will start. On the goalie guild I read that it could really go either way.

So, I wonder how people feel about this potential trade considering my concerns listed about. Many thanks as usual.

I wouldn't do this,Rinne may be great but the way the goalie situation in Nashville has played out the past couple seasons i would be nervous as well,Ellis is a very capable goalie and if Rinne falters you could see a time share.Kovie in a keeper with your scoring is worth more and after him your LW are lower scoring PIM guys,You also have Varlamov who is as yet un-proven but could be better or at least as good as Rinne.Also like that you have Neuvirth to cover yourself there as well.

Katharsis, I see that you are living in Halifax. How do you like it there? It may be a possible future home for us and I am curious is you would recommend it.

When it come to LW he's second best after AO, but 2nd best is still really good.
In other words - Get more for him.
