Well, that is a big bummer. It does seem like quite a strange decision, that is for sure.
I, for one, am furious at the NHL Network for not broadcasting at least a handful of games from the Traverse City Prospects Tournament.
What is the point of providing live coverage of the tournament's first season if you are not going to do it on a consistent basis. It only frustrates and upsets a dedicated and passionate fan base.
Although I'm sure there are many reasons why they maybe COULDN'T broadcast these games, you have to wonder what kind of negotiations took place during their decision to broadcast last year's games and why there wasn't a long-term solution set in place.
It's bad programming and overall a very bad decision.
Unfortunately this has a direct impact on my September update for the Top-50 Keeper League goalie prospects. I'm going to have to do updates from what non-goalie analyst writers and reporters say about the goalies' performances instead of being able to scout and analyze with my own two eyes!!!
BOOO to NHL Network. But overall I still love them =)
Anyone know if there's like some kind of online feed or something??? AGUAHUGAHEUDHFaud
