I am in the forums with these two wide black margins on either side on my monitor and by accident I click control and roll the mouse wheel at the same time and the forums zoom in and fill my screen.

Pressing CTRL and the plus (zoom in) or minus(zoom out) sign does the same thing. It's an alternate way, especially if your scroll wheel is really sensitive.

i'm pretty sure this is a pretty typical function in a lot of browsers and/or programs...
you do the same thing in excel, and you get the same result. most every wepage i've tried it on yields the same result...
