Next year who wins with H2H G,A,PIM, +/-, PPG, PPA, SHP
Side 1 gets
Getzlaf
D. Sedin
Streit
Side 2 gets
Backstrom (WSH)
Hemsky
Green
Any and all thoughts welcome and thanks ahead of time
Personally I would say that the Backstrom, Hemsky and Green side wins but I'm biased because I have all three in my dynasty league
I could see this as being pretty much even though. The only intangible I think in this whole scenario would be Streit.
Which side do you have?
Keeper-G/A/PPG/SHG/GWG/W/SO
C-Steen-Pavelski-Stepan-Bergeron-Malkin
L-Ovechkin-Johansson-Ladd-Eriksson
R-Perry-Backes-Wheeler-Hornqvist-Nash
D-Burns-Byfuglien-Letang-Shattenkirk-Vatanen
G-Andersen-Luongo
Farm-Condon-Horvat-Namestnikov-Walman-Murray(G)

I have side 1.
I am having a hard time giving up Getzlaf as a multi stat horse. Sedin is steady and you know exactly what to expect. Streit shocked me last year. I didnt think he could put up those numbers with the Islanders.
I look at it like this:
Green>>>Streit
Getzlaf>Backstrom
Sedin>Hemsky (health issues and supporting cast)
Thoughts?
I like the Backstrom/Hemsky/Green side here.
Points only - Backstrom side wins by a decent margin.
But in your league, it's much closer. I'm still going to say the Backstrom side because of Green but you lose slightly (like you said) from Getzlaf to Backstrom and Sedin to Hemsky.
I dunno, here's how I see it
Green >>> Streit
more or less accurate, maybe only >> since the Isles are improving and he did amazing on a shit team, hes PP money I think. Still Green owns him by a long shot
Sedin>Hemsky
unless Hemsky ever lives up to his billing I totally agree, Sedin is steady, Hemsky's a bit of a bandaid boy
Getzlaf>Backstrom
hard to say, I love getz too, but I dont think he has the sheer offensive upside as backstrom...I'd probably rank em equal though if I had my choice I'd wayyy rather own Getz, I really like him as a player.
I think I would sit tight, or counter offer...the prospect of getting green is huge but always be careful trading for a guy coming off a career year, his trade value is sky high right now
Backstrom, Hemsky and Green side by far. Backstrom continues to improve and should play all season with Ovechkin. Hemsky may finally show his world class talent and Green is an absolute offensive stud from the blueline. Green will be the best fantasy option for defence for the next 10 years.

like you said, points only, the other side for sure, but with your stats, I would almost be inclined to keep what you have....its close.
since you can only keep four players... you take the best deal and then you adjust your draft strategy accordingly.
TAKE BACKSTROM, GREEN, AND HEMSKY. Keep the three of them and fleury as your four keepers.
Then when it comes time to draft the rest of your team, make a point to go after guys that will help you in the pims, goals, and sog categories. In the draft you can most likely get sean avery or something similar to help ease the loss of getzlaf. You will not be able to find an assist machine like backstrom or a goal scoring defender like green in the draft though...
When you're only keeping 4 guys, you take the highest quality 4 guys you can... in this deal it's by far the backstrom, green, hemsky side.
that's my 2 cents at least.

Thanks for the resposes guys...he backed out on moving backstrom but still wants to move green.
He wants Streit and a 5th round pick. He got Green in the 4th and Streit was a 6 last year to give you a sense of where guy get picked up. Since there aren't a lot of guys kept this is usually what available in those rounds.
It seems like a lot to give up if I can just kep streit and draft another 50pt D with my 5th round...what do you think?
