Atlanta's crowded crease
So just a few days after the NY Islanders passed on Peter Mannino, the Atlanta Thrashers snatched him up. They also snagged Drew MacIntyre from the Admirals.
Now the Thrashers have five goalies and only four spots available.
NHL - Lehtonen, Hedberg
AHL - Pavelec, Mannino, MacIntyre
One of these goalies will move ... I have no idea which one it will be.
I could see Hedberg going back to Dallas. I'm almost positive he played like 20 games with the Stars in the 2005-06 season coming off the lockout season.
Lehtonen/Pavelec would be one of the best tandems in the league.
