Default Brett Maclean?? Need urgent advice

I have one pick left in my prospect draft and I am debating between a few prospects.

    Any advice?

I am looking at Brett Maclean (Phoenix), Jeremy Morin, Leland Irving, Tokarski, Peter Holland or Goncharov

I would appreciate any insight. I am less likely to take a goalie since they are so unpredictable. Maclean also makes me nervous...did he simply benefit from the Tavares factor?

    Please help.

    Thanks

I passed on MacLean bc it looks like he was definitely a product of being Tavares' teammate.

I think any of the guys you listed have the potential to be very similar players with similar upside/downside. Throw a dart. I also tend to stay away from goalies as prospects.

Last year proved that McLean wasn't a product of Tavares IMHO.

Not an easy call - in similar situation I took MacLean - he is closer than the others to the NHL, a sniper and touted by scouts via Dobber as being a pretty sure thing. Holland is a wild card and Morin could be good but farther off than MacLean.

Here is how I would rank the prospects listed...

Goncharov - a member of the National Team with increasing responsibility each season in the KHL, Goncharov is NHL ready...he has shown interest in the NHL as he was in camp last season

Tokarksi - winner at every level (Midget, CHL, WJC)...next stop AHL

McLean - decent first year in the AHL in an offensive minded system, hopefully he has a good camp

Morin - PF waiting in the wings

Irving - someone has to take over for Kipper sometime but Irving will have a long wait

Holland - good talent but can he put it all together
