I would take Osgood ahead of Toskala. Detroit has one of the best defence in front of Osgood and he will play a lot this year. Toskala has a better defence in front of him this year compared to last year and they will be hard to score against but they will have a hard time scoring goals. Osgood will get more wins and have better GAA and SV%, Toskala will get fewer wins but more shutouts. The wild card here is that both teams have solid young back-up ready to take over the #1 role if either falter.
