    H2H stats. G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, GWG, goalies W, SV%, SHO, GAA.

I have the 6th pick in the draft. I\'m trying to sort out who to take. Right now I feel I would be better off taking one of Schroeder or Ellis. Is this wrong for me to over look Schenn and Kane?

If you were to pick one of those 4 who would I be looking at for the best upside and why if you can awnser that.

    Great stuff anyways bugg.

Great! Thanks again! So if it\'s Schroeder yes, if it\'s Kadri probably not, but should if it\'s Glennie, so I take him over the other guy you talked me about?

How about my idea of going with the BPA and grab a D in hoping to trade him later on?
Glennie is a distant third on that list; I\'d take him no higher than 14.

Your idea is a good one- there are a bevy of great young offensive D, more than any year I can remember.

    Hey Bugg,

I know he\'s not really a prospect anymore, but I guess I\'d ask anyway and use your wealth of knowledge.

Andrew Cogliano- I need to decide whether to protect him and he\'s got a hell of a lot of competition on my team- Perron, Little, Gagner, Barker, Neal, Zajac.

What do you see in the next little bit? Sorry if this is a bit off-topic.

Among goalies, he\'s definitely tops. Among ALL players... that\'s tough. I\'d take him mid to later 1st.

Of the guys projected to go in the late first or early second round, how do you think getting drafted by Pittsburgh will affect their upside? Do they suddenly become worthy of a top 15-or-so pick in a points only rookie draft?

Since you count G, PIM and GWG, I\'d go with Kane easily. He is primarily an even-strength scorer, and will rack up north of 80 PIM. I\'d put Schroeder behind him for PPP, then Schenn.

    Thanks Bugg!

I beleive someone in my league might take him at #7 - and of course I have #8 pick.

Absolutely. In this draft, since they pick 30, I\'d say they\'d be worth a 15th at earliest.

Great work, Bugg. Bet you\'re glad you took that typing class in Grade 11.

I pick #5 and want a defenceman. I know Hedman will be gone. Of the next 3 top D, how do you rank them in terms of making an immediate impact?

Sorry for the second question. I can keep 21 players. Keeper league were 12 FW, 6D, and 2 G. 1pt for G, 1pt for A, and Dmen get and extra point for every 60 minutes of ice time. Goalies get 2 for win and 2 for shutout. I can only keep 21. So far I feel Ranger, Hillen, and Lee are my drops. Would you say those are the best options for drops?

I also am loaded in the draft. Right now i\'m considering taking M. Goncharov. How would you rank him in the 2009 class. Is he a better option than Ellis?

    Forwards: (19)
    1- 28 Vincent Lecavalier (TB)
    2- 20 Nicklas Backstrom**(Wsh)
    3- 23 Patrick O\'Sullivan (LA)
    4- 20 Phil Kessel (BOS)
    5- 20 Derick Brassard* (CBJ)

Woah, I definitely did miss it! Sorry.

I\'d probably rank them as such:

    Tavares

    Schroeder
    Frolik
    Boedker
    Duchene
    Schenn
    Eberle
    Benn

I HATED typing class. But I somehow picked it up.

Immediate impact? Kulikov. Definitely Kulikov. Then Ellis.

Hate to be greedy but as a followup question,

    (A) how would you compare (points only-wise) 18 year old Kulikov with these guys when they were 18:
    Bogosian, Pietrangelo, Doughty

    (B) who would you take now - John Carlsson or Kulikov?

    Thanks again.

PS Stay in school, kids. And don\'t do drugs!
