The thread for the finals. Naturally, I\'d like to see a repeat of last year, but this will be A LOT more hard fought. Impossible to say which team has a clear advantage. Let the games begin!

I\'ve been thinking about how to call this for several days now. Tough call with two excellent teams. I see some similarities between the Pens and my Oilers of old where they got beat by the Isles the year before they won their first Stanley Cup.

Still, at the beginning of the playoffs I called Detroit as the Cup winners. I think their depth will win the day once again, but it will be a hard fought battle.

Looking at the scheduling, and two games this weekend....I like Pitt more than ever. They\'ll split the first two, then take both in Pitt, lose in Det, and win it all at home. Pens in 6.

worst possibly stanley cup final from a marketing perspective. Been there done that. i don\'t really have much of an interest in the finals this year (after being gung ho for them last season).
