Cogliano and a conditional pick in 2010(either a 1st or 2nd depending on how far i go in the play-offs)for Andy McDonald...i see McDonald as having the better point totals over the next 2-3 years..

Yeah, I agree that McDonald will play a much larger role in STL then Cogs will. IT will definitely help you out this year too.

The draft pick is just and entry draft? Or do you have limited keepers?

we have full keepers....it\'s a 16 team league so even a 2nd round pick in our Entry Draft is equal to a 1st round NHL pick

I just traded for Mcdonald to help me in the stretch run, but looking at his totals I\'m making him a keeper now. It costs me Boedker and a few other rookies but I\'m happy. If he can fit in with Boyes first line, another 85 point season is possible.

just for the record,i traded Cogliano/1st in 2009 for McDonald/Holmstrom.....we\'ll see if it pays off or not

not a bad deal at all, I actually own both cogs and mcd in different leagues so I value them both highly...mcd will have much more impact much sooner, he\'s hitting his stride and is looking like he will really be a force on that young STL team, cogs is talented too, but a few years behind developmentally...plus the glut of youth on the Oilers makes it difficult to forecast where he will wind up
