Playoffs around the corner; who\'s in for this?

alright guys, just throwing this out there to see what kind of interest there is.

I did this pool year\'s ago. It\'s a little different, but I liked it.

Basic rules. Pick 16 players for your playoff pool team. Breakdown is nine F, six D, and one goalie tandem. Here\'s the catch; you can only pick one player from each playoff team.

So, would you take Parise over Broduer? Green over Ovechkin or Backstrom? Daniel or Henrik Sedin? Thornton or Marleau? Datsyuk or Zetterberg?

No matter who you pick, everyone gets two players in the finals.

I\'ll put up another thread closer to play-off time; just trying to gather interest right now.

Of course, there has to be a prize. To the winner will go 1 Karma from every participant PLUS I will buy the Playoff Champion a copy of Dobber\'s Guide for 2009/10, so long as there are more than 20 participants.

hey im in but havent been here in the past would love to play but how does it work?

whats the scoring stats? and is it only teams that make the playoffs? so like if pitts doesnt make it i cant take crosby?
also last question can we all pick the same players? like we all can have ovech on our team?

Yeah and since 16 teams make it to the playoffs, each team should have 2 players left.
