Hey Duff
They are all decent choices but for my money I would go
Mason
Vokoun
Legace
Toskala
Based mostly on expected starts/wins and then stats.
In a 1 year roto league, goalies categories: GAA, wins and save pct.
I already have Turco and i have to dress 2 goalers. In a 12 teams league, which is the best duo ?
Turco-Legacé
Turco-Vokoun
Turco-Mason
Turco-Toskala
Roto league $$$, auction league, limited keeper max 3 years
G, A, Sog, Pim, Hits, +/-, Stpts
Wins, Gaa, save%
12 forwards
5 def
3 goalers
10 utility

After Turco, Vokoun, Legace, Mason, then Toskala
"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary, full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen." - Sterling Archer

“Anyone who thinks the pen is mightier than the sword has not been stabbed with both.” - Lemony Snicket
Because GAA and SV are both in there I\'d put Legace first followed by Mason.
The number of wins shouldn\'t differ much from one goaltender to another.
SV% and GAA give the edge to Legace IMO. I think he\'ll be playing behind the best D-squad of the group (honorable mention to Nashville too). Considering the lack of St-Louis\' firepower and Murray\'s coaching style, they\'ll probably play defence first.
And don\'t tell anybody but I think Legace is somewhat underrated.
I\'m going to go with Mason, Legace, Vokoun then Toskala.
I think Nashville is underrated because of all the controversy with them over the summer. They did lose Timmonen but there other D is pretty solid. And I think Mason will be very good. I just have a weird band aid boy feeling with Legace. just think he won\'t make it past December.
GWNHL Fantasy Cup Champs 06-07
I definitely do not expect Legace to play a ton of games this year. Tearing the meniscus in your knee is a TOUGH injury. Pascal Leclaire tore his last year and then came back only to re-aggravate it. Legace tore his late in the regular season but it\'s unclear how much he has recovered over the off-season. He won\'t face nearly the speed or intensity of NHL games in the summer and during the pre-season, so I would be VERY wary of Legace.
I would take Mason or Toskala before I took Vokoun. I have a feeling that Vokoun is really going to struggle this season. He hasn\'t played consistent in a long time.
hockey guild thats some pretty good observations, got me thinking , curious to your thoughts on fighting in the hockey, sarcasim sorry could\'nt resist , you know the bloody gloves thing and all.
Roto type keeper league.We keep any 6 ;15 teams , 3 div. of 5.We play 3 lines , 3 def. and start 2 goalies.6 BN.Stats are 1pt. for goals and assists , 2pts. for W , tie(O.T. or S.O. loss) 1pt. S.O. 1pt.Weekly line-up from Mon. to Sun. Total pts. per line against other teams lines.
LW - Ovechkin , Drouin ,Steen , Huberdeau
RW - Nash , Callahan , Nyquist
C - B. Schenn , Fisher , R.N.H. , St. Louis , T. Johnson
Def.- E. Johnson , Gologoski , Suter , Doughty , O.E.L.
G - Scheinder , Dubnyk , Lack
AHA...
My thoughts on fighting?
Dan Cloutier will play one game this season in net and will let in three goals in the first 10 minutes and then will fight the opposing goalie ... which will be Phillipe Sauve (Sauve will get traded from the Bruins to the Coyotes ahaha) and then Sauve will \"accidentally\" leave his helmet on (remember when he did this as a Flame against the Avalanche???) and then Cloutier will take a bashing and be forced to retire because he wasn\'t allowed to wear his old-school Chris Osgood-style helmet.
Oh man hockey season needs to start ;x
mason
legace
vokoun
toskala
mason is young and has a decent d core infront of him
legace supposedly has the best dcore in front of him and is on a defensive team
vokoun will have to survive on his own but i think that he has enough raw talent to survive in FLA
toskala is in the same situation as vokoun but i think vokoun has the edge because he has more experience as a starter
