Pretty cool moment after the game last night. Even after the loss, the entire team stayed on the ice to give Silfverberg a proper send off, including a "championship style" team photo at center ice. Only this time, Silfverberg was in the front and center flanked by the team and with his two kids sitting on his lap and is wife next to him.
Can just imagine that picture on sitting on the mantle as the family ages, and (maybe) when the grandkids are eventually at the house. What a special moment and memory for Silf and his family.

12 years is a pretty good run. He was one of those guys that was a teaser particularly in his first 3 or 4 years in Anaheim, you drafted him or kept him hoping he would take the next step, but, he never really did. Still, he was a solid NHLer, he finished his career wearing an "A" and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Feels weird when guys you drafted as rookies are now retiring. I drafted Silf but he's been gone for a while. Toffoli and Barrie are the last remaining players I've have from my original dynasty startup draft.

The gifts he got for his time in Anaheim was a little sad in all honesty, but mostly focused on what the team gave him.

From Training Staff: Gaming Chair.
The training staff, any gift is more than they should give so that's not what I'm looking at. And the Rolex could be really expensive. But a ping-pong table from a business that's owned by Henry Samueli who's worth $14.4B is crazy.
