The Eastern wildcard/3rd in the Metro race has gotten a lot more interesting. I didn't think the Isles were going to be back in it but here they are thanks to a few teams stubbing their toes. And the Penguins are somehow still kind of in it too. Hanging on by a thread.

I wouldn't bet against Crosby who doesn't want to miss the playoffs, and a team coached by Patrick Roy.

I can't trust Vancouver too - they slowed down and Demko's injury has me guessing them, and they'll play white-hot Preds likely.

I would probably bet for Tampa to surprise whoever they play in the first round too.

100% Torts didn't want Couturier as his captain; and that's how Torts sees it, his captain. Not the Flyers captain, but his. The Captaincy call came from management just the way they waited for him to be ready to play to award it.
