2024 Dobber NHL Playoff Draft - Discussion

It's not ideal, but I usually like the spot to go against the trend and pick top guys on underdrafted teams. I like Matthews at that point.

I've been in the 9/10 spot in this draft a few times in the last number of years, done exactly that, and it has served me well.

Ideally I would want to be picking in the middle, but practically it is easier for me to be on a turn being overseas so I could make two picks at once. But would have preferred being on the other turn and getting McDavid!

I'd like McDavid too. Had to settle for Draisaitl. MacKinnon felt like a more obvious pick but I'm going with hunches in this draft.

I always seem to get a spot near the back end of the draft.

Was able to win it one year from somewhere at the end.

So you got Marner and Nylander TWO full rounds later. And Bouchard wasn't making it back. Guess it gives you a clear path if the Leafs make it to the Cup. Isn't it how playoff drafts work

Do we get to replace any player that gets eliminated or just players who's team doesn't make the playoffs altogether?
And I assume we can only replace players who don't make the playoffs only at the end of the draft, right?
