It's hard to not look at what Winnipeg, Carolina and Vegas did and say all three teams are in much better shape now than they were a few weeks ago.

My vote goes to Winnipeg though. All the guys they acquired are healthy and ready to hit the ground running to learn their new team systems heading into the playoffs. It's not always easy transitioning to new systems, linemates and coaching styles. I like that Toffoli has played for many different coaches and has moved around a few times so he should be able to adjust quicker.

Guys like Hertl or Guentzel only know one team, one city, so the adjustment could be slower for them and both are coming back from an injury so that could also impede their progress with their new team.

At the end of the day, I think, for this year, the additions Winnipeg has made will help them more going into the playoffs so I like what they have done a bit more than Vegas or Carolina.

    I voted for Carolina.
Guentzel was someone they needed and he's coming back soon so will have time to gel.

I do like what the Jets did and will be hoping/cheering for them to win the Cup.

I didn’t vote for them, but I wouldn’t be surprised if in the end the Tanev to the Stars move proves to be final key in the Stanley Cup puzzle. I think in the end they might be the winners of this trade deadline, despite making only that one move.

I admire Vegas having the courage to make all these wild moves. They are one of a kind.

Voted for Vegas. I have no idea if what they added will pan out for them, but Hertl, Hanifin and Mantha as a group is the strongest addition imo. ..and I'm much more impressed than disgusted by their workings at the deadline. Makes the league more entertaining.

Vegas. With the additions they got they are a pretty deep team up front and on the blue line.

it was easy to vote for Vegas based on names but i think what Winnipeg did and possibly Carolina will have most positive effect on the team.

    2G 1A for Tarasenko tonight.

Jets are a team that I wouldn’t be scared to face in the playoffs. Lately they don’t start games very well and their D corps look slow (except for Morrissey). They rely too much on Helly too.

Guentzel been fitting in splendidly on his new team.

Dallas been doing well lately too though not sure how much of that can be contributed to Tanev. Half the games have been against non playoff teams.

Colorado is also scorching. Mittelstadt with 5 points in 6 games.
Walker with 2G 1A in 6 games. Duhaime with only 1A.
The added depth likely helping them utilize the rest of their lineup more efficiently.

Both Toffoli and Monahan doing well for Winnipeg (point wise).

Vegas still not doing great but has a 4 point gap and one game in hand of keeping a playoff spot.
