Keep 3
Hi everyone,
With the trade deadline coming up I'm looking at trade options. Due to an extensive injury list I doubt I'll be able to get into the money this year (top 4 out of 12), likely to finish 5th or 6th. If my team had been healthy I could have been 3rd. I'm looking hard at my keepers and wanted opinions on who to keep. Trades are hard to come by as there is a big gulf between competing teams not wanting to trade with a competitor, and rebuilding teams who have no assets to trade.
With that in mind, how would you rank the following as my last three keepers?
Giroux
W Johnston
Lafreniere
Faber
Weegar
Norris
Laine
I'm thinking Giroux is a must, and likely Weegar although that would make me heavy on D. I'd hate to lose Norris or Laine as I think they're talented and they'd go in the first round but they're so injury-ridden they're no use to me on IR. Johnston and Lafreniere have similar numbers, and Faber was a waiver wire pickup but has surprised me. Assuming no trades, who would you prefer?
Thanks in advance!
