Bet365 gave me $10 free so I put it on a special bet that Mackinnon will score a point in all 41 home games this year. I'm sure he won't... But... 16 games to go.

It's going to be nuts the Hart trophy nominations. So you'd think Kuch+Mac are pretty much locks. Then if Matthews scores 70g, how do you not have him there? Then McDavid. It's crazy that one of those 4 won't be nominated.

There is no "nomination" for most NHL awards. They just announce the top 3 vote getters.

Kucherov first to 100p. In 59 games. He doesn't appear to slow down.

I get that it's a show and you need to show up, but otoh you have a skills competition created by the fastest skater in the NHL, which he ofc also won. Kucherov never was going to win that unless they included some sort of IQ test at the end. Not saying he'd the smartest player in the NHL, but he was at a disadvantage from the start in this competition and maybe he should've been given the option to pass it to someone more suited to it.

Scoring in all home games can't be a common occurrence. Nice bet. Hope the payout is as good as it should be.

    I don't know anything about sports bets...does 15/1 on a $10 bet pay out $150 (15 x $10)?

If so, that seems like a small payout for such a rare occurrence, so I am wondering if I just don't understand how sports betting works.

Correct. Ya I guess I didn't really consider the rarity of it. But considering he was already over halfway there at the time of the bet, it kind of makes sense.

It was just a free bet awarded from the app. I probably wouldn't have placed it if it were my own money. Fingers crossed.

hey, can't complain about free money! Hope it goes your way.

Also, considering he was already halfway there when you placed the bet, it makes more sense to me now that the odds are so high (or is it low?). I would have assumed that before playing a single game, the odds of him scoring a point in every home game would have been lower (is that how you say that?...less likely to achieve but a higher reward if he does...again, this is a realm I'm unfamiliar with so I don't know the lingo).

Best of luck the rest of the way...I hope he achieves the feat for you!
